All great leaders communicate in the same way, and it is from the inside out.  The ordinary person will communicate from the outside in.  Leaders start with the Why.

This graphic explains why Apple is so successful at what they do.  They are more than just a computer; they are innovation.  By beginning with the Why, consumers will understand a company and product on a deeper level.

Simon Sinek states, "People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it."  It's not just an opinion, It's
                                                                            biology.
The what is ruled by the neocortex realm of our brain.  This stores vast information, and leads our logical thinking.
The why is understood by our limbic brain.  This separate section controls our feelings, such as trust and loyalty, as well as our ability to make decisions.

To effectively market something, we must understand and advocate for the Why.
